After years as a passionate amateur photographer, being awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society, I began combining fabric with my colour prints. I enjoyed the vibrant colours, patterns and textures of fabrics so much that I now only work in this medium .
I use recycled material whenever possible, from cast-off clothes, car boot finds, charity shop purchases, offcuts and scraps etc.
I combine machine sewing, hand embroidery, embellishments and applique techniques to create colourful images that depict my favourite subjects.
I have held various exhibitions of my work in the UK and Spain and a selection of framed pictures and greeting cards are available for sale at Beacons Crafts in Brecon.
